Text to video AI: turn your own words into a narrated video

Already have the words? Paste a script, a blog post, a newsletter or a set of notes. The AI shapes your text into narration, voices it, generates visuals for each passage and adds captions, so the video says what you wrote instead of something generic.

About this tool

Text to video vs. prompt to video

With a prompt, the AI decides what to say. With text to video, you decide. The content of your script or article stays the source of truth: the AI adapts it for the ear, splits it into scenes and illustrates each one. Use it when the substance matters, such as a product explanation, a lesson, a researched article or a story you have already written.

Word for word or adapted

By default the AI tightens your text into spoken narration, which usually means shorter sentences and a stronger opening. If every word must stay exactly as written, switch the creator to Script mode and paste your text there; the narrator then reads it as is, and the visuals and captions are built around it.

What text converts best

Text with one clear point per paragraph turns into clean scenes. Listicles, how-tos, explainers, short stories and opinion pieces all work well. Very long articles are better split into a series, with one section per video, than squeezed into a single upload.

Convert an article or newsletter into a video

Writers sit on a back catalogue that only readers ever see. Each article is a ready-made script: a promise in the headline, a sequence of points, a conclusion. Paste the strongest section and the AI turns it into narration with visuals that follow the argument. Publishing the same idea as a video reaches people who would never open the post, and links them back to the full piece.

Script to video for faceless channels

Many faceless creators write their own scripts because the writing is where the channel's voice lives. Text to video keeps that voice intact. Paste the script, choose a narrator that suits the tone, and the creator handles visuals, captions and rendering. Because the script is yours, the videos stay consistent from upload to upload instead of sounding like everyone else's AI output.

Tips for text that sounds good out loud

Writing for the ear is different from writing for the page. Shorten long sentences, replace parentheses with a separate sentence, and spell out numbers the way you would say them. Open with the most interesting line rather than the background, and end with one clear takeaway. Small edits like these make the narration feel natural instead of read aloud.

Frequently asked questions

Will the video use my exact words?

In the default mode the AI adapts your text for narration while keeping its content. If you need the exact wording, use Script mode in the creator and the narrator reads your text word for word.

Can I turn a blog post into a video?

Yes. Paste the post, or the one section that carries the main idea. A post of 800 to 1,200 words usually makes a good long-form video, while its single strongest point makes a better short.

Is text to video free?

You can generate a free video every day on the free plan. Free videos are up to 90 seconds at 720p with a small watermark. Paid plans remove the watermark and unlock longer videos and premium voices.

Which languages can my text be in?

More than 30, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian and Polish. The voiceover and captions follow the language of the text you paste.

How is this different from the AI video generator?

The AI video generator writes the script from a short idea. Text to video starts from text you already have, so the message, facts and order stay yours. Use the generator for new ideas and this tool for existing writing.

Can I upload a document instead of pasting text?

Right now you paste the text. That keeps you in control of what goes into the video; most documents hold more than one video's worth of material. For PDFs, the PDF to video tool walks you through the same flow.
